So...I'm not afraid to admit that I eat out frequently. Sorry, wallet!! But ever since I was younger eating out just worked best for my families schedule. There were always multiple carpools going on, I had dance class, my sister had her activities and at the end of the day we just didn't want to come home and cook dinner, do dishes and homework, and so on. Most of our dinner spots were always a restaurant with a soda fountain and kids always love those because you can mix crazy/gross drinks and so on.
It's strange because as I sit here and type this I'm realizing that when I was younger being so short didn't really affect me as much I don't think because most kids need step stools or whatever. As I got older though, being 16 I didn't like pulling a chair up to the soda fountain or at a food buffet. To me it was embarrassing and dinners would sometimes be on edge because I would just get so irritated that I couldn't just do something and needed assistance from my family. I would hate when my mom would say, "just tell me what you want to drink and I'll get it for you" or "what do you want on your plate?" It was exhausting.
NOW...I love going out to eat because ordering at a counter and getting my own drink isn't a issue for me anymore. I can stand on my own with out needing the assistance of a chair or help from another. Jason's Deli in particular is a favorite of mine because salad bar, soda fountain, ice cream machine (and of course the baked potatoes!!)
and I'll be damned if I let anyone get in the way of me and my Diet Dr. Pepper ;)
What's your favorite drink??
