Save-A-Limb 2017

Finally home from my "home away from home." It was a successful weekend for the Save-A-Limb Fund! Over $90,000 raised! All proceeds will benefit children who suffer from limb and joint deformities. The funds raised make it possible for Dr. Herzenberg and Dr. Standard to travel to other countries like Haiti and the Dominican Republic and treat patients who are unable to travel to Baltimore or afford the best care. Sometimes insurance companies will approve of the surgeries but not the required post operative care needed for after...that's where Save-A-Limb "steps in" and helps cover the costs of the daily physical therapy and other post-op care needed for a successful outcome. Everyday a difference is made at RIAO. To everyone who donated this year - and in previous years - thank you. 💚
